Phenikaa MaaS’ bHub – AI Box won the 3rd prize in the final “Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge”
Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge (QVIC) is an innovation incubation competition in which Vietnamese startups have the opportunity to realize the technologies of the future. The successful teams will get substantial prizes as well as many additional technological supports as a result of the selection and incubation phases.

Phenikaa MaaS has steadily demonstrated company development through the process of analyzing societal requirements, updating products, and improving innovative creative solutions since participating in the QVIC contest in 2020. As a business striving to build smart mobility, Phenikaa MaaS has always focused on the challenges that vehicles are facing.
Phenikaa MaaS discovered that the devices that assist the migration process have not yet completed the duties in an appropriate and adequate manner. More specifically, the cameras placed on the vehicle only perform a single task, which is to record the activities taking place on the vehicle. Meanwhile, there are some circumstances that require rapid notifications in order to avert unfortunate incidents when vehicles are on the road.
That's why Phenikaa MaaS developed bHub to enhance the intelligence of existing cameras. With Edge AI technology that has been researched and developed for a long time, bHub is like a brain installed into existing cameras, making them smarter. Not only can cameras with bHub support record, but they can also give fast warnings if the driver does not follow road safety requirements, such as not wearing a seat belt, smoking, or not wearing a mask, for example.

In addition to enhancing the vehicle's cameras, Phenikaa MaaS hopes to integrate AI Box into other camera systems. With AI's immense potential and the capacity to train object identification, bHub will focus on additional aspects of traffic in the future, such as detecting car parts and determining the density of vehicles on the road. Furthermore, because of their broad applicability, bHub - AI Box products are expected to be used in a variety of disciplines, including education, healthcare, and business, depending on individual needs.
